All interested parties are invited to attend one of our monthly meetings. There will be opportunities to learn about prospecting laws, methods, and equipment as well as some hands-on practice. There also are outings to enjoy the pleasures of the outdoors and prospecting for gold. Become a member of one of the newest chapters of the Gold Prospectors Association of America (GPAA).
No membership fees! GPAA membership not required! All memberships are individual; no age requirement to join in the fun! Meeting at 2pm on the 2nd Sunday of every month. Click for location.

August 10, 2025 Annual Picnic It was HOT, but we had fun! Thanks to all who attended! Thanks to Ana Colon and Jan Hurtubise for providing the grill and a special thanks to Ana for volunteering to cook the hamburgers and hot dogs! Don't forget: Sign up for Lawson Bar outing at the meeting! MINER'S RAFFLE *We will have some GREAT prizes AND, of course, GOLD!* *Buy your tickets at the meeting!* No need to be present to win! (Just make sure your name & phone number is legible on the ticket!) If anyone has any suggestions for: education, safety, fundraising and outings, please let us know!
