Come Join Us!

All interested parties are invited to attend one of our monthly meetings. There will be opportunities to learn about prospecting laws, methods, and equipment as well as some hands-on practice. There also are outings to enjoy the pleasures of the outdoors and prospecting for gold. Become a member of one of the newest chapters of the Gold Prospectors Association of America (GPAA).

No membership fees! GPAA membership not required!
All memberships are individual; no age requirement to join in the fun!
Meeting at 2pm on the 2nd Sunday of every month. Click for location.

                         GARAGE SALE UPDATE

Garage Sale triple-booth at the July 2 Garage Sale at the Clark County Fairgrounds changed to the Saturday, November 5th Garage Sale. About 18-20 panners and other helpers will be needed. There will be different shifts and plenty of time to go see other vendors at the event. Please sign up at the membership table at the meeting.

We have a 2-day private event for a manufacturing company at the Cowlitz County Fairgrounds on Saturday, August 20 (3 -11) & Sunday, August 21 (2-7). We will teach panning and giving out chapter information. We need approximately 40 people to work both days. Lodging may be available for out-of-town people, (not Vancouver area to Longview area). There is also camping available at the fairgrounds. See Debbie for details. Please sign up to work the show; this is a great opportunity for the club. We still need to purchase supplies and assemble the gold sample cups and paperwork. We will send out an email when we have a day and time planned to assemble the items needed for the event.

We have started our 3 month raffle which will be drawn Sept 18th at the Picnic.
